2026: REBUILT
Seneca Event
During the Week 2 Seneca event, 1218 placed #4 out.of 32 teams present and was selected to be a part of the #1 alliance partnered with 190, 5732, and 8704. Despite some technical ups and downs, we finished the event as the event winner and won the FIRST Impact Award.
Philadelphia Event
During the week 5 event at Abraham Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, the team ended the event in #3 and captained the #2 alliance along with 6921 and 6808. We competed to the finals, where we were defeated by the #1 alliance. We also won the Quality Award to go along with our finalist status.
District Championships
Over the 3 day competition, 1218 ended 18 out of 66 and were the first pick for alliance 8 to join 1089 and 2590. During playoffs, we lost our first match to the #1 alliance and lost our second match to the #4 alliance. Despite the quick losses, we won the Team Sustainability Award and qualified for the World Championships in Houston, Texas.
