Crescendo was themed around music and concerts as part of the FIRST in Show season. The gameplay consisted of robots scoring foam rings, called Notes, into goals on their end of the field. At the end of the match, the robots move to structures called Stages and climb on metal chains to earn additional points.
In just eight weeks we built a robot that met and surpassed the challenges of CRESCENDO. It was highly maneuverable and could reliably climb and shoot/score efficiently. we had hot-swappable parts and cameras that improves our efficiency on and off the field.
Both our robot and our team allowed us to make it to the world championships! We even placed 15th in our field at worlds! Unfortunately, that's where our season ended as we were not selected for an alliance.
