One team used a clever interpretation of the rules to play a very effective total defensive strategy. We learned the value of very thoroughly reading and understanding the rules for every game going forward.
Team 1218 had a nice year winning the Industrial Design and Regional Finalist Award at the Chesepeake Regional as well as Engineering Excellence Award at the Philadelphia Regional. The performance earned them a ticket to the FIRST World Championship where we made it the Quarter Finals in the Archimedes Divsion losing to the eventual Finalists on Einstein.
