Aim High involved teams competing to gain points by delivering balls into goals and positioning their robots in certain positions on the playing filed. Between rounds two and three and three the alliances switch from offense to defense and vice versa.
Our team capabilities were still in their infancy. We were still hand tools-- no metal working tools. We made progress in moving to a more spacious classroom.Check out this great video
Again the team continued to perform well and develop its skill level, becoming the Chesapeake Regional Finalist. Impressively, mentor and Engineering Department Head, Peter Randall was awarded the prestigious Woody Flowers Finalist Award, recognizing mentors who lead, inspire and empower using excellent communication skills.
